Manufacturing

From forming line to finished board

Follow the main stages of board production and view the equipment used in our workshop.

  1. Step 1

    Board Forming

Magnesium oxide slurry is laid up on the forming line to build each panel to its target thickness.

  2. Step 2

    Demolding

Cured panels are released from the forming line and moved forward for sizing.

  3. Step 3

    Cutting

Panels are cut to standard 2440 × 1220 mm or 2400 × 1200 mm sheet sizes, or to a confirmed custom dimension.

  4. Step 4

    Sanding

Sanded-face products pass through mechanical sanding for a flat, uniform surface.

  5. Step 5

    UV Finishing

Decorative-face panels receive a UV-cured surface treatment before final inspection.

  6. Step 6

    Inspection

Boards are checked against the confirmed order specification before packing.

Quality

How boards are checked before they ship

These practices apply to production runs; exact scope and documentation are confirmed with each order.

Inspection room with laboratory equipment and work benches

An inspection space at the facility.

In-process checks

Panels are checked at forming, cutting and finishing stages against the confirmed order specification.

Third-party inspection

Third-party inspection ahead of shipment can be arranged for a specific order on request.

Order-specific reports

Inspection reports relate to a particular production batch and are arranged as part of that order rather than published generically.
